The AgileAiPro Framework (AAF) — Version 1.0

The AgileAiPro Framework (AAF) is an open governance framework for human-AI collaborative delivery. It answers the three questions AI-assisted teams cannot currently answer: who approved this AI-assisted output, what was checked before it shipped, and how often AI was wrong. AAF layers on top of Scrum, Kanban or SAFe rather than replacing them, and is free to read. The AAF white paper is available to download after login.

The core elements of AAF v1.0

AAF is deliberately lightweight — you can start it with a spreadsheet and your existing ceremonies.

  • Named human accountability for every AI-assisted deliverable
  • The Review Gate — a risk-tiered checkpoint sized to the consequence of being wrong
  • Roles including the Trust Lead, and a Compliance Partner in regulated contexts
  • AI risk tiers (Tier 1–4) assigned by consequence, not by industry label
  • Task tagging: Human-led, AI-led or Shared, decided before work starts
  • Five ceremonies: Planning Check, Daily Update, Midpoint Check, Review, AI Retrospective
  • Three metrics: Trust Score trend, AI Error Rate and Override Rate
  • A 30-day adoption plan for teams of 2 to 500+ people

Frequently asked questions

What is the AgileAiPro Framework (AAF)?

The AgileAiPro Framework (AAF) v1.0 is an open governance framework for human-AI collaborative delivery. It defines named human accountability for AI-assisted work, a risk-tiered Review Gate, the Trust Lead role, AI risk tiers, three governance metrics (Trust Score, AI Error Rate, Override Rate) and a 30-day adoption plan. It is published by AgileAiPro and is free to read at agileaipro.com/framework.

Does AAF replace Scrum, Kanban or SAFe?

No. AAF is a governance layer that sits on top of your existing operating model. Teams keep their current ceremonies and add five lightweight AAF checkpoints, task tagging and three governance metrics.

Is the AAF framework free?

Yes. The framework text is free to read on agileaipro.com. The AAF white paper is downloadable after login and is watermarked per user; the framework and white paper remain the copyrighted intellectual property of AgileAiPro.

What is the Review Gate in AAF?

The Review Gate is the AAF checkpoint that every AI-assisted deliverable passes before it ships. Its depth scales with the AI risk tier — Tier 1 high-consequence work requires a named reviewer, documented checks and a sign-off record, while lower tiers use lighter checks.

What does an AI Trust Lead do?

The Trust Lead owns the governance signals in AAF: they track AI Error Rate and Override Rate, run the AI Retrospective, watch for patterns rather than policing individuals, and own escalation when AI-assisted work repeatedly fails review.

How do I get AAF certified?

Read the study guide for the credential you want, then pass its online exam of 60 randomised questions with 70% or higher. AAF Foundation, Practitioner, AI Trust Lead and AAF for Regulated Industries are available individually, or as a Complete Bundle covering all four exams.
